By downloading, installing, or using the Outfara mobile application (the "App"), or by creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Lewis Peck, trading as Outfara ("we", "us", or "our"), a sole trader based in England. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Outfara. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or delete accounts where we have reason to believe a user is under 16.
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Use of the App to operate a competing service, scrape data, or resell access is not permitted.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at travelroutewise@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must provide accurate information when registering. We may close accounts that contain false information, or accounts that have been dormant for an extended period.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. On deletion, your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use the App to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these rules, without notice.
The App may allow you to share trip details, meetup posts, or other content with other users. You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content as part of the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse user content and are not liable for it. We may remove any content that violates these Terms or that we consider harmful, without notice or explanation.
Core features of the App — including your "Here" feed, local recommendations, and safety maps — rely on your device's location. Location data is used in real time to personalise your experience and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Doing so will disable location-dependent features, but the App will continue to work with manually selected cities.
The App integrates with third-party services to provide its features. These include, but are not limited to:
Your use of features powered by these services is subject to each provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
Some links within the App — including links to Booking.com, Trainline, and others — are affiliate links. This means we may receive a small commission if you make a purchase after following such a link, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which services are shown or recommended.
Outfara provides travel information to help you plan and explore — but you must always verify critical information independently before relying on it.
Accommodation prices shown in the App are typical estimated rates by property type. They are not live quotes and will differ from real availability. Always check current prices on Booking.com or your preferred booking platform before making a reservation.
Safety area maps and notes are editorial summaries compiled by Outfara. They are not based on live crime data and may not reflect current conditions. Never make safety decisions based solely on information in the App. Follow local authority guidance and use your own judgement.
Walking routes and journey times are algorithmically generated estimates. They do not account for temporary closures, road conditions, or personal fitness. Always plan routes with official mapping tools for critical journeys.
We make no warranty that any information in the App is complete, current, or error-free.
The Outfara name, logo, app design, and all original content we produce are owned by Lewis Peck and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Data sourced from OpenStreetMap is made available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Photographic content sourced from Unsplash is used in accordance with the Unsplash Licence.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
We are not a travel agent, insurer, or emergency service. The App does not replace professional medical, legal, or safety advice. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Outfara (Lewis Peck) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, personal injury, or property damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, as the App is currently free, is likely to be zero).
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.
